Stephanie gave me the best haircut I’ve ever had. She was super knowledgeable about wavy/curly hair and showed me the best ways to bring out my natural waves. I liked that she talked me through the process and asked for feedback as she was going. She was very thorough and paid attention to every little detail. The end result is amazing! I would highly recommend her, especially if you have wavy or curly hair!

I visited Salon deZEN for the first time on Thursday and Tanisha was my stylist. I wanted to share how positive of an experience I had with her. I had the same stylist in Chicago for 10 years and since my move to NOVA, I have only had 2 salon experiences that weren’t the best. Tanisha gave me one of the best cuts I have ever had and she could tell I was a bit nervous but I’m so pleased with how healthy and perfect my cut was. I look forward to seeing her again in 6 months! I’m so happy to find this gem of a salon!

Just got a Brazilian blow out with Mariah and it turned out perfect! So excited about how shiny and beautiful my hair looks! Love this salon and all the people that work there are so nice and welcoming. Thank you Mariah for my awesome hair!!!

Alondra with Salon DeZEN creates Pinterest-perfect balayage! She was so sweet and easy to talk to, and really cared about the look I wanted to achieve. She spent a lot of time talking to me about products and styling techniques that would help recreate my new style at home. I couldn’t be happier with my new color! The salon itself is really cute, inclusive, and very welcoming. I will definitely be a return customer!

I love this salon and will keep coming back. The atmosphere makes me feel really comfortable, and everyone is so kind and welcoming. Appointments are easy to make and get, and I’ve never had any trouble finding parking right outside. Tanisha is amazing. She listens well, gives great advice and cuts that I love, and she is kind and fun and someone I enjoy being around!

Tricia Galatis was wonderful! She went above and beyond to put my mom at ease getting extensions for the first time. She had been experiencing some hair loss due to a medical condition and was really down about it. Tricia went over several options and helped us choose which one would fit her needs best. She was kind and compassionate and so so helpful. When my mom finished her appointment I could already see an immediate improvement in the way she carried herself, with more confidence and she practically glowed. Tricia gave my mom back the hair she should have. It looks so natural and she said it’s so lightweight and comfortable and easy to take care of. Thank you so much for helping give my mom back her confidence and making her feel beautiful again even though she has always been beautiful in our eyes💜

I normally try to go to an Asian salon, specifically a Korean hair salon, as they have not failed me yet, and I do like the korean hairstyle. However, I decided to go try something new. I found out about this salon from the Facebook community page. From just talking to one the beautician, I already got the feeling that they are nice. I was proven right. Anyway, the people who check in customers are friendly and welcoming. The place itself is cozy. The prices are reasonable. And if you get there early enough, there's street parking. PS. I have Mariah, and she's friendly, nice, personable, and will get the job/hairstyle you want.
